Yemeng Chen, L.Ac., is the President
of the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After graduation from Shanghai University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in 1985, he had worked as an instructor
in Shanghai Medical University and practiced as a physician
in the affiliated Huashan Hospital, becoming the Director
of the Acupuncture Department in 1990. He was also appointed
as the Professional Secretary in Acupucture, Committee
of Traditional Chinese Medicine by the Shanghai Municipal
Govermment, China. He has more than 30 research papers
published in various medical journals as well as 10 books
about acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Two articles
were cited in Current Bibliographies in Medicine: Acupuncture
(1970-1997) by the National Library of Medicine. Since
1997, he has been the Academic Dean of the New
York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is
a member of the New York State Board for Acupuncture and
the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Traditional
Chinese Medicine. |
